FIND YOUR FUNNY
Find Your Funny is a confidence-building comedy experience designed to help you turn real-life stories into authentic, powerful, and funny material. In collaboration with Cool Beans Comedy and Flawless Affect Foundation, this workshop creates a supportive space for individuals from the different and disabled communities to explore their voice, build confidence, and step into the spotlight.
Through a multi-session process, participants will develop their own 5-minute stand-up set using guided prompts, storytelling exercises, and performance coaching. You’ll learn how to shape your experiences into compelling comedy while growing your confidence both on stage and in everyday life.
The workshop includes:
May 17th - In-person session (2.5–3 hours) at the Ice House Comedy Club Pasadena:Finding your voice and building your set
Week of May 25th - Virtual session: Testing material and refining with feedback
May 24th - In-person session (2.5–3 hours) at the Ice House Comedy Club Pasadena: Final run-through
May 31st - Live Fundraiser Showcase
Tickets are $150.
It includes the complete Find Your Funny journey - workshop sessions, rehearsal, and a live showcase performance at the Ice House Comedy Club. Plus, you’ll also receive a professionally filmed and edited clip of your set, so you don’t just do the thing…you get to prove it.
The experience culminates in a live showcase at the Ice House Comedy Club May 31st, where participants perform as part of a special fundraising event benefiting the Vascular Birthmark Foundation (VBF).

This special showcase is held in honor of Birthmark Awareness Month, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Vascular Birthmark Foundation (VBF). VBF is a global nonprofit dedicated to providing education, resources, and access to medical care for individuals with vascular birthmarks, anomalies, and related conditions.
Beyond medical support, VBF plays a vital role in building community, raising awareness, and helping individuals and families feel seen, supported, and empowered. This event aligns with that mission by creating a space where stories are not only shared—but celebrated.

COREY MARTIN CRAIG
FOUNDER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Corey Martin Craig is an award-winning actor, writer, director, producer, and TEDx speaker, who brings over 15 years of experience in front of, and behind the camera.
He has directed stand-up comedy specials such as “Normal Behavior” for Samuel J Comroe (America’s Got Talent), “Never Been Kissed” for Nicole Burch (HBO), and “Dumb is Gooder” for Jeff Dye (NBC). Past film and television appearances include NBC’s “Superstore”, Showtime’s “Shameless”, Nickelodeon’s “Henry Danger”, and Netflix’s “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday”, to name a few.
In 2009, he founded Cool Beans Comedy, and produces and hosts multiple shows across Los Angeles, helping countless comics reach their goals of performing at numerous clubs, festivals, and competitions.

Nicole Burch is a stand-up comedian/actress based in Los Angeles, California. Nicole has two stand-up comedy specials: “Never Been Kissed,” and “Mama Drama.” She has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, HBO, Hulu, and Nickelodeon.
She tours the country as a headlining comic, has studied at The Groundlings, has over 125K followers on IG alone, and hosts the popular podcast: “The Funny Thing Is.”
ANDREW CORNELIUS
INSTRUCTOR
Andrew Cornelius cut his comedic teeth with improv in Chicago and in New York, and has performed stand-up comedy for over five years in Los Angeles.
He has been seen in Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer”, Nick Jr.’s “Platy & Jackie’s Mixed Up Challenges”, “Captain Hagen’s Bed & Breakfast” streaming on Amazon, and was the host of Intrigue TV’s “Just Eat It!” He tours the country appearing at numerous comedy festivals as a stand-up comedian.
