Since 2009, Cool Beans Comedy has specialized in comedy classes, live comedy shows, filmed stand-up specials, private events, and corporate team building & training seminars. Cool Beans Comedy believes that comedy is a universal language that should be enjoyed by all and the secret to our success is the positively supportive and encouraging community.
Curated by Founder and Coach Corey Martin Craig, Cool Beans is the most supportive and encouraging brand in comedy. Whether you are new to comedy or already have your special, Cool Beans Comedy will help you cultivate a deeper understanding to your writing, stage presence and performance, and relatability to your audiences.

corey martin Craig
FOUNDER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Corey Martin Craig is an award-winning actor, writer, director, producer, and TEDx speaker, who brings over 15 years of experience in front of, and behind the camera.
He has directed stand-up comedy specials such as “Normal Behavior” for Samuel J Comroe (America’s Got Talent), “Never Been Kissed” for Nicole Burch (HBO), and “Dumb is Gooder” for Jeff Dye (NBC). Past film and television appearances include NBC’s “Superstore”, Showtime’s “Shameless”, Nickelodeon’s “Henry Danger”, and Netflix’s “Pee-wee’s Big Holiday”, to name a few.
In 2009, he founded Cool Beans Comedy, and produces and hosts multiple shows across Los Angeles, helping countless comics reach their goals of performing at numerous clubs, festivals, and competitions.
SUZANNE LUNA
PARTNER
A 6-time Daytime Emmy Award winning Latina director/producer, Suzanne Luna’s storytelling runs the gamut: from celebrity-driven comedy to documentary, branded content, and narrative fiction.
She is best known for directing over 1,000 segments for the iconic "The Ellen Degeneres Show" garnering over half a billion views cross platforms during her 15 year tenure.
Suzanne’s skills as director on the Emmy Nominated "Momsplaining with Kristen Bell" garnered over 300 million views cross platforms and won 3 consecutive Webby Awards.

Katsy chappell
INSTRUCTOR
A vested union actor and corporate comedian, Katsy's stand-up career took off when she bested six competitors on Star Search to reach the semi-finals. She has toured colleges nationwide on the NACA circuit, opened for George Lopez, Howie Mandel, and the legendary Temptations Revue, and spent two years on the road as Patti LaBelle's opening act.
She has performed everywhere from a Berber camp in the Sahara to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and entertained U.S. troops in Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Djibouti through the Bob Hope USO Shows.
As an actor, she has appeared on HBO's Emmy-winning Indictment, ER, Roseanne, and Torchwood: Miracle Day, and in the feature films The Veil and True Lies, alongside numerous national commercial campaigns.
Katsy plays over a dozen instruments, has marched in four consecutive Rose Parades with the Tournament of Roses Honor Band, and plays bassoon with the LAPD Band.

INSTRUCTOR
Justin Foster has been featured on The Joe Rogan Experience, LAUGHS on FOX, SIRIUS/XM, the Burbank Comedy Festival, Cape Fear Comedy Festival, San Diego Comedy Festival, and as a “Fresh Face” at the Laugh Factory. He has also been voted one of the Top Funniest Comics in Texas by the Improv multiple times, and performs all over the country in theaters and clubs.
His debut comedy album, DANGERLESS, debuted at number one on iTunes, and his latest special, Cheap Date, is now streaming everywhere. He also hosts the relationship comedy show Foster the Podcast, releasing new episodes every Monday.
JACK SULLIVAN
SOCIAL MEDIA CONSULTANT
Jack Sullivan studied Dramatic Writing at Carnegie Mellon University. He infuses his knowledge of storytelling into his comedy where he performs stand-up and improv comedy across Los Angeles with his unique voice and style of humor.
Jack has over 15 years experience of live streaming video production for CBS Radio, NATPE, and Cool Beans Comedy. At CBS Radio’s talk division, Jack helped bring scripted reality entertainment to the Internet for the first time.
He produced over 350 hours of online entertainment for the likes of Adam Carolla, Tim Conway, and more.
PJ GERMAiN
CREATIVE CONTENT PRODUCTION
PJ Germain is a director, producer and editor based in Los Angeles with a background in narrative storytelling for film, television and streaming. A native of New York, PJ is an alumni of the Directing Fellowship at the American Film Institute Conservatory and a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild. Working both behind the camera and in the editing room, PJ has provided support on content for Disney, Universal, Paramount, and Netflix.
As part of the Cool Beans family, PJ is the co-creator of the anthology comedy series, Cool Beans Short Cuts.
LENNON HOBSON
COMMUNICATIONS
An Alumni of Loyola Marymount University's Dance and Theatre Program, Lennon currently puts her Bachelor's degree to use as a multi-hyphenate artist in Los Angeles. Currently an actor, dancer, and stand-up comedian. Her work can be seen throughout Los Angeles across all artistic mediums. A background in classical dance and a love of musical theater lead Lennon to bringing physical comedy center stage. A real life Fairy Princess and horror movie aficionado, her dark sense of humor and bubbly personality collide with her stand-up comedy. She joined the Cool Beans Comedy Community in 2021, and is now proud to be working alongside them as their communications liaison. You can see Lennon as Pamela Voorhees in Never Hike in the Snow on YouTube, doing Stand-Up Comedy around LA, and choreographing and dancing for various Live performances and music videos.
Andriy Ivakhov
TECH ADVISOR
Andriy Ivakhov is a Ukrainian-born stand-up comedian and tech professional based in Los Angeles. His comedy pulls directly from his own life — growing up in Ukraine, raising a daughter, and the small absurdities of building a new life in a new country — landing somewhere between tender and razor-sharp.
A graduate of Cool Beans Comedy, Andriy lends his tech background to the team in an advisory role, helping keep the production and digital side of the operation running smoothly behind the scenes.
