The Ice House
- Games first. Warm-up games, then what makes a joke funny. Nobody needs to bring a thing.
- Write it together. Your family, your pets, your life. We build what YOU want to write! Try it onstage and find your funny!
- Dial it in. Still onstage every week, now shaping your best jokes into the set you’ll perform, keeping what lands.
- Dress rehearsal. The whole set, start to finish, like the real thing.
- Showtime! A five-minute set in the all-ages show at the Ice House, directed by an Emmy winner, with agents and casting directors in the room!

A safe room to be funny.
At an open mic, our founder Corey Martin Craig got made fun of for his material. So he built Cool Beans Comedy to be the opposite: a room where everyone is welcome, and everyone is rooting for you.
You leave more confident, onstage and off. The comedy is the byproduct.
